Book Review
Overall rating: 4/5 stars
The Spellshop is a charming cozy fantasy that whisks the reader into a magical land where plants talk and the main character is blue.
Keila perfectly embodies the extreme introvert who loves her books and her space and is not afraid to advocate for the space that she needs. However, she does realize that she can’t do life all on her own and that life is, in fact, better with others.
This is a perfect Hallmark-esque cozy fantasy. Is the plot predictable? Yes. Is it wholesome and like being given a warm hug (or a pastry with lots of raspberry jam)? Absolutely.
Suitable for readers of all ages.
