Barbie — A Messed-Up Reversal of the Patriarchy

Despite the rave that Barbie is receiving from popular culture, the film is not all that it is cracked up to be. Its version of feminism is flawed; its correction of the patriarchy is completely ineffective. I didn’t like it, and here’s why…
